Hi all, my name is Adam and I am new to homebrew but not to beer

(I am assuming that emoticon gets used often here )

I had a locel brew by you make me some beer years ago that was ok, but I think I drank it too soon, he never told me to let it sit in the bottle to condiiton it...anyways, I am getting a kit from somebody in town on Friday that has everything I need to make some beer, including a keg and a couple LME kits.

Anyways, hope to learn a lot from here, thanks for the resource!

Welcome to the forum! Grew up about 60 miles downstream from you. Are those kits just a can of malt??? If so, we can doctor them up to make some righteous beer!

Yeah, they are just malt, but I went out and got a coopers dark ale kit and some DME and some corn sugar to make a simple ale as my first kit.
