I'm getting ready to boil my second beer this morning. I purchased a "Brewer's Best" Weizenbier kit and I find that it doesn't come with Irish moss or whirlfloc.
I believe weizenbiers are cloudy brews anyway. Is this why there is no clarifying agent?

Irish moss is by no means a necessity, even moreso when talking about a cloudy or a very dark beer. None of the kits I have purchased have included it.

At my LHBS Irish Moss is listed as an optional ingredient on all their recipe's. It doesn't come with the kits.
