So I am trying to brew my first lager. Everything went pretty smoothly and I put it in my partially completed keezer. What I didn't do was get the temperature probe all the way into the keezer.

I happened to peek in today, and I've got a wort slushie.

I've read the threads that say thaw it out and just keep going, and I'm doing that.

My question is whether I should add more yeast. I pitched a starter of a little more than a liter. Do you think enough survived? Or is it time to get some more yeast and pitch again?

I'm too lazy to link to it, but John Palmer has a story (and a poem) about this very situation. You can find his online book by any search engine "How to Brew."
