Hi guys/gals, John from Sarnia Ontario Canada here. I'm a high pressure Welder by trade (so all the fabricating is fairly easy)Finally starting to get around to getting my stuff ready to start brewing, figured I would say Hi and start reading the info to see how everyone does this hobby. I made a keggle and have a 10 gallons mash tun, also made a HLT out of a 12 gallon pot. It's all electric, I put 1-1/2" Triclamp fittings on both keggle and HLT to hold the elements. I just started to put together my PID/SSR etc. hope to get everything going soon. From what I have read a temp controlled unit for fermentation is a good thing so I started on that. To do this hobby right it sure takes time. I watched a video the other day and the guy was making a batch that seemed really technical, omg I have so much to learn, all I can do is start slow and read and ask questions. That's about all, hope everyone's doing well. Happy brewing.
