And RR gets paid the same by CBS regardless of what they charge.
And helps when your family owns the distributor.

I still have no idea why this is legal. The only reason CBS exists is because they get all the best **** from their family. Seems like a pretty clear violation of the 3-tier laws, but I suppose that ship sailed long ago.
what would an Uber/Lyft from SF to SARA cost me these days?
or is there an easy public transportation option?
$100+ each way if I had to guess. It's a hike.
You can take the CalTrain to the San Jose station. A Lyft from there to Sante’d be much more reasonable, but you’ll want to time it right—the 17’s a nightmare a lot of the time.what would an Uber/Lyft from SF to SARA cost me these days?

You would be a lot better off trying to catch a ride with a TBer. I'd guess at least one of us makes the trek every day and would be willing to offer a ride.what would an Uber/Lyft from SF to SARA cost me these days?

Yeah, Caltrain to San Jose Diridon Station. From there, the 17 bus apparently gets you real close to the Santa Cruz Portal vs. trying to get to Capitola. And yeah, you are spot on, 3-ish hours from 4th and King to get to Santa Cruz. That's a rough go.You would be a lot better off trying to catch a ride with a TBer. I'd guess at least one of us makes the trek every day and would be willing to offer a ride.
But there's also a bus, I don't know anything about it though. Just use google's "public transit" option and it'll show you. My guess is like 3-ish hours from SF to Santa Cruz.
Just make sure it's not Ryan_G. He takes the Ass Grass or Cash thing a little too seriously about the ass part. *Shudder* never again.hmm... I think I may have to rely on a TBer to roll with if I come out. I just checked and it looks like a 3 hour commute w/ 3 different trains

I'm loosely thinking about planning an share in Golden Gate park on Sat Nov 4th. Lots of folks were talking about doing a large Sante themed share soon. This might fit the bill. Maybe this helps you plan.werd... trying to see if I can plan the flight/dates first then I guess I'll reach out to a few of you guys and see who's around to hang

How do I always end up traveling during these lately? (ಥ﹏ಥ)I'm loosely thinking about planning an share in Golden Gate park on Sat Nov 4th. Lots of folks were talking about doing a large Sante themed share soon. This might fit the bill. Maybe this helps you plan.
Pretty solid, albeit a bit pricey. Would recommend, esp if you want to catch a game. How’s the food at Bartlett Hall? Staying near SFO and considering taking BART into the city for some grub and grog.
Open to other suggestions near a BART stop with great food and good tap list.

Shoutout to øL Beer Cafe for actually raising money to help out those affected by the fires.
dammit! please postpone - there are a few of us that have some really old sante bottles for which stupac2 and i have been talking about trying to coordinate some kinda event for probably a year or more now.I'm loosely thinking about planning an share in Golden Gate park on Sat Nov 4th. Can confirm few crowds. No line for Armand, Iris, and a bunch moreWoot. The Jug shop's barrel aged beer tasting is a reasonable amount of people! Ducato Frambozschella was an awesome surprise.
I mean, there's plenty of old Sante to go around. Also, I can't guarantee that I make that date either.dammit! please postpone - there are a few of us that have some really old sante bottles for which stupac2 and i have been talking about trying to coordinate some kinda event for probably a year or more now.
and i'm out of town that weekend bc it's my bday and we are going to LA.![]()
You were clearly not lining up for Beat B5.
Yeah that was such a complete disaster, and 5 minutes per customer was absolutely accurate. 8 hours in line, never ******* again.I was there. Beat B6 was the last time I gave them my business outside of a few pints here and there. That release was a ******* nightmare, and I know some of you guys were there too.
One, slow-ass employee on the bottle register. I timed her, and it took nearly 5 minutes for her to ring me up and grab bottles. After 5 or so hours in line.
RR is the goddamned worst.
This last release was great. Reminded me of B5. Strolled in on a Friday night, got some pours at the bar, left with a few bottles. Still expensive as ****, but the experience was pleasant.I was there. Beat B6 was the last time I gave them my business outside of a few pints here and there. I got a couple bottles like a month after the nominal release. It was nice. This last release was great. Reminded me of B5. Strolled in on a Friday night, got some pours at the bar, left with a few bottles. Still expensive as ****, but the experience was pleasant.
