Any places pouring Prop tomorrow, by any chance? Or sometime next week? Looks like CBS will have it Friday but I'll be out of town.

Thank you City Beer Store! Got to buy a full allocation (including the Rare) and only waited 2 hours in line. Drinking Coffee & Prop. Got a free donut, hot dog, and coffee (not the beer)! Greatest beer release ever.

Edit: Looks like even 2 hours wasn't needed. Almost 11am & can buy a 2nd Rare if I want lol.

How much is the Rare?

Please tell me you're being sarcastic.

No, this is what happened. Bought the 2nd Rare. Didn't grab the free hot dog.

Edit: I've been in much longer lines & seen things run out way quicker, so this felt easy for me. Great conversations & all the freebies made the time go by quick.

$61.99 plus tax. $67.46 total.

Didn't do any BC shopping but I was out on a walk w my parents and we passed by Ales Unlimited. They have one bottle of rare left for sale - $80. Get it while it's hot!!

I know these are both popular adjuncts in '16 but for my beer tasting mouth, maple has like a 50% fail rate and chipotle probably a 98% fail rate. I'd die of shock if it was a winning recipe for me. Took that under consideration when I blew off the Willows event last Wed.

Would still order if I stumbled across it in the wild of course.

I liked Prop, but would preferred they just made it like they did in 2013. I want my adjunct-laden stout to be overloaded with coconuts, or vanilla, or both. Why move on from a winning recipe?

Happens when you get eaten by a bigger fish?

because neckbeards / newmoney don't care about the recipe.

and I'm probably one of those lol.

Anyone seen any coconut rum Dragons Milk hanging around stores still?
I have an unhealthy love for
Almond joy, and I like drinking the alcoholic version too!

I believe Alameda Craft still had some before Thanksgiving.

If anyone wants a beer at Alvarado St in Monterey on Thursday, or SARA at opening on Friday let me know.
Otherwise I will be drinking alone.
