I'll be in San Francisco next week, but with limited time I think all I can do is a Cellarmaker and Toronado. Not that I expect anything, but I heard it can be a bit difficult getting the Toronado crew to even sell a bottle of Cable Car (I'm aware it's for on-premise only.) Does it really just depend on their mood? It's also not the only reason I'm going as I wanna try Blind Pig on draft more than anything...

Haven't been to Toronado in a while, but if it isn't on the list, I expect you are correct. Otherwise enjoy the Blind Pig, music, decor, and hospitable service.

Cable Car was on the list as of two weeks ago, I believe it was 2010, 2013, and 2014. Don't forget to drink some Reality Czeck and Twist of Fate while you're there and get a sausage from Rosamunde.

If you find yourself at Toronado on a Tuesday, get the burger from Rosamunde around lunch time. Will not regret it.

Thanks! Gotta a full schedule since it's my first time in SF, so doing the super touristy thing, so time it not on my side. I've been drinking pretty much nothing craft version of pilsners and lagers for the past year now, so definitely will give this a try. Much appreciated all...

Doubt it will still be on, but Blind Pig was on in tap in the City Beer Store last night. Only 1 block away from Cellarmaker, and for a surprisingly low (at least for the City Beer Store) $5 a pint.

If you end up doing the touristy thing in North Beach, pop into Church Key. Easily the best beer bar in the city (but not if you're looking for anything rare).

Sounds right up my alley, I don't bother looking rare stuff anymore, I've had Cable Car before, so I figured it was available while I was at Toronado I'd give it a go again. Thanks for the suggestion...

With all the Founders shindigs happening around the bay, has anyone come across Backwoods Bastard yet? That's one of the few beers from Founders I give a **** about.

Last night, the Trappist supposedly had a keg of Backwoods Bastard on. Way too far and long of a weekday drive for me.

Harry's Hofbrau San Jose has it on their beer list for their Thursday November 5 event.

I will be at that event, anybody else gonna be there? I also heard that they will have KBS on tap!
