Gentlemen, question: Does Good Karma preannounce any of their Beer Week shenanigans? And is FB the only way to keep up with them?

Looking forward to Beer Week (I’ll be driving up the 11th and then driving back down the 15th).

All I can say with certainty is that they have not yet posted anything to the organizers' site yet.

I am going to try and go

Hey all. If anyone wants to share a bottle or two (at SARA or wherever) or do an in-person trade during beer week, let me know. I'll bring along some Hill Farmstead bottles, fresh Heady and others.

Any chance you can re-write this article to include the PtY release at RR as a "Must Do", just to clear the city out of a good number of dipshits for the week?
It's there, just as a side note to the first paragraph. And anyone heading up to RR for Younger is probably already in line...

As Ryan posted GK will be dropping the beer week mic on Monday. Expect some great beer and a serious invasion of personal space.

How boozy is the Sau and Brau event at Drake's? It'd be easier to hit up on the way home from work vs. dropping car off but don't want to drive boozed up.

Saturday: I See a Dankness Double IPA

I know that's the SARA collaboration. I wonder if it's again made with Bonnie "Prince" Billy, like I See a Darkness? I actually ran into him the last time I was at Cellarmaker, during the bluegrass festival in early October.

I remember a vague mention of Tired Hands actually releasing I See a Darkness in bottles (barrel aged?) with label art work by BPB himself. Not sure what happened to that idea.

Yep, on September 17:

A very special beer will be made available today.
We conditioned I See a Darkness, our Imperial Espresso Honey Porter, with our Emptiness yeast culture for a bit and then bottled it up.
If you are a fan of either the base beer or the original series, you will love this. The Emptiness culture is lending a good amount of underripe peach and bright citrus to this already complex beer (perhaps not surprising as we used the culture from You Are the Emptiness, our Local peach Emptiness iteration...) Original artwork by Will Oldham on the label. $14 per 500ml bottle. Two per person per day. 200 bottles are available to the public.

As boozy as you want to make it. I personally wouldn't drive afterward.
