Hey guys,

I'm very new to brewing, as having just got my set up. I've decided to go with all grain brews as to do the whole process from the beginning. What I cant seem to find is a very basic IPA recipe. I just want something basic to start with so I can make any changes to fit me better.

Please and thank you.

This is from Brewing Classic Styles (an American IPA)

12.75 lbs American 2 Row
.75 lb Munich
1 lb Crystal 15
.25 lb Crystal 40
1 oz Horizon 60 min
1 oz Centennial 10 min
1 oz Simcoe 5 min
1 oz Amarillo 0 min
Yeast WLP001 or Wyeast 1056 or Safale US-05

Mash @ 149

Thanks for that. Looks like exactly what I need. is that book a good source for all grain recipes?

Yes. A very good source. And pick up a copy of How to Brew by John Palmer for more information on the process.

All grain on the first go?! tell me more about your brew kit!

I would buy an ingredient kit for the first go. Here is a great deal on an IPA all grain kit (you have to choose your yeast though... that is NOT included): http://morebeer.com/products/obsession-ipa-grain-beer-kit.html
