Barrel stopper fell into my keg.... HELP~!!

So I was transfering from a 5 gallon oak barrel to a keg for long term aging, and I dropped the green rubber stopper into the keg. My hands and arms are way to big to fit in there, and I dont want to transfer again.

Question: Can I leave the stopper in the keg for the next 5 months, and then get it out later, or will it ruin the taste of my beer?

what's the stopper made out of? I'd probably just leave it. I bet it'll be fine.
