I do not know the spice profile yet, It is written on last year's recipe card at home. I made notes on what to adjust. Mostly, it's allspice, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg and cloves.

I bittered last years with magnum and it worked great for a single hop addition. It was a touch more bitter than I had hoped, so I reduced the magnum and split the charge with Cascade to get a little spice out of the hops.

The base here is a high gravity Amber Ale on the low IBU end with higher ABV and middle color. The pumpkin is going in the boil since A. I don't want lautering problems, and B. I experimented last year and I found that you get almost no conversion from the starches and the pumpkin in the boil imparts PLENTY of flavor for me.
