ball mill?

Has anyone ever tried a ball mill?? It is very easy to make and if used properly seems it could crush grain with no real problem except making a bit of flour :-/. Any thoughts?

More likely "mostly flour". Ball mills are typically used as pulverizers, which is probably why you never see them mentioned in a brewing forum. Brewers actually just want to crush the grain, not grind it...
