I have a 5 gal batch of very high gravity (1.110 OG) crabapple wine based on Yooper's recipe on Safeale US-05 that's been steadily chugging away for about 6 weeks. My two 1-gallon top-up jugs have settled out to about 50% sediment after I racked into secondary. I'm thinking of pressing another couple batches of apples, and just dumping the top-up jugs into the crushed apple pomace for a batch of low gravity cider. What do you guys think?
