Yeah, that has been pretty much my setup in summers past. Was thinking of getting one of those wine sleeves you can put in the freezer for when I want to bring a single 750 out somewhere.

Went to Suicide Rock yesterday for the first time. Crazy this place is 2 hours from Los Angeles. Feels a world away. The whole valley feels like a little mini-Yosemite, steeped in just as much climbing history. The cliff in the photo across the way is Tahquitz, ~800 feet tall. I haven't had many awesome strawberry beers but this one that chongcheesol sent me from Arkane was awesome. Thanks!

Tried to climb the Buffalo Wall in Red Rocks this weekend. Moved a LOT slower than expected and got off the wall well into the night. We were planning on biving on top of the wall anyway since we knew we wouldn't want to hike back to the car after climbing all day and there is a nice little rock wall shelter to protect from wind. Well anyway, I found a bottle of New Belgium 1554 dark lager sitting behind a rock in the shelter. Best by (or maybe brewed on?) date was January 2016. Figured the thing would be terrible from over a year (or maybe much longer?) of sitting outside and cycling between hot and cold but damn did that beer taste great. I was probably just thirsty.

I just got a huge new backpack so I decided to load it up with a ton of beer to see how well it carried a bunch of weight. It turns out it carries excellently! SARA Remember When and Casey Cab Franc Fruitstand. Not pictured, a whole load of cans that were consumed throughout the weekend. San Jacinto wilderness, CA.

Finished up a boulder I have been working on. Drank some nice beers too. Here is a Nonna's 12. It was actually cold enough outside this weekend to have this beer be perfect drinking temp. Temps made the climbing a lot easier too.

I can't believe how many of you guys lug around bottles of beer and fancy glassware on these outdoor excursions. I don't do much more than car camping and I mainly drink canned beer and a bottle of moonshine.
