Well I've finally got a batch not smelling like donkey dick thanks to frequent degassing.
Now it's time to sweeten! I used apple juice concentrate for the first batch but it's a bit tart.
For this one I want to use something else. Any suggestions? Just sugar?

Table sugar if you are going to pasteurize or chill right away. For kegging I have done just table sugar then right in the kegerator it goes. For bottling I prefer Stevia. Just don't boil it or you will get that saccharine nasty flavor.

Try some fruit. The fruit does bring some sugars to the party and the fruit flavor kind of tricks your tongue into thinking it is sweeter than it is.

Just my 2c
