I thought you were gonna show some poor schmuck's door getting ripped off the hinges... Ah well, that was cool too!!

OK.. two questions...

1.) How much and where to get it done?

2.) Why the hell demo it on a Lincoln Town Car? (I think that is what that is)

I was thinking the same thing. That is a LOT of open exposed area for snow and rain to fall in. I get irritated now with just barely trying to squeeze in my doors and having snow fall onto my seat..can't imagine the mess that thing would allow.

i don't see how it's any different than opening a car door to get out. after all, rain falls down...unless you have a lamborghini doors, they wouldn't block any additional rain.

i suppose if the wind was blowing snow directly into the door, you have a point. otherwise i don't see a huge difference.

my power window motors cost over $200 imagine what that will cost when it breaks. I can see 1000's of doors being replaced from people opening their doors over speed bumps at the mall.

been done albeit not with doors but with the tailgate on Chevy station wagons of the late 70 early 80's.I see lots of problems with them like what happens when the battery is dead or you drive into a snowbank not a real tall one but one thats up to the bottom of the frame or just plain deep snow. Never work in the snow belts
