Has anyone extended their Auber RTD wires, if so have they given you any trouble? Mine are about 6 ft long and they need to be about 10 ft.

I did without issues. I soldered and used heat shrink wrap. Accuracy was spot on once I fired up the PID.

RTD - you can extend with no problems as long as you follow standard wire attaching protocol. Type K thermocouple - big issues unless you use a specially designed extension kit as the wire make and resistance is critical to proper function.
