Auber JSL-73B Timer - Cannot set events longer then the previous.

I had to get the instructions and double check what I can't do.
Seems real odd to limit it like this.

What I want to do
100min total timer
45 min boil
15min addition
20min whirlpool
20min whirlpool

But I cannot set 20min after I set 15min.
And if I read it correct, if I do 15min and 15min and 15min then the relay to my buzzer won't sound?

I’ve never used this particular timer so I could be completely wrong here, but after a quick read of the instructions it looks like it’s expecting the time left in the process, not the step time. So you would set: 100, 55, 40, 20.
