Has anyone tried to run a 2200w 120v element on an Auber Cube, or know if it would work?
Looking at the wiring diagram, I don’t see a reason it wouldn’t work as long as I create a power cord to replace L2 with neutral.
Here is a link to the wiring diagram, I technically have the custom Brew Hardware Auber Cube, but it’s not too different. https://www.auberins.com/images/Manual/Cube 5S_Standard US240_wiring diagram.pdf
I seem to remember reading a thread where @Bobby_M mentioned it works, but I can’t find that post now.
I made a 2.5 gallon system with an extra kettle I had lying around and the diameter is too small for anything other than a 120v element. Don’t want to buy or build another controller if I don’t need to.
Thanks in advance!
