I'm not the OP, but somehow I think it will be a long time before he gets to answering your question, but I've had very fast ferments with fresh Notty packs. So, as long as the pack expiration date is 2016 it should ferment quite fast.

Rev.

Thanks for the tip. I was pretty set on going with it... just wanted to ask a legit question.

Even though it's more of a personal experience type thing.

Dare I eat a peach?

I'll throw my question in...

As I was going to St. Ives,
I met a man with seven wives,
Each wife had seven sacks,
Each sack had seven cats,
Each cat had seven kits:
Kits, cats, sacks, and wives,
How many were there going to St. Ives?

Man it's like a season of "Lost" up in hurr. The questions just keep piling up, and no answers are forthcoming.

Better get crackin', OP. The longer you wait, the worse it'll be. Rip off that bandaid.

At this point you're pretty much guaranteed carpal tunnel, at a minimum?

LOL... This thing is still going??

I thinks it's time to let it die a slow but deserved death. Don't you??

I would just like to add; There is no dumb question. Just don't tell others to ask you a question... LOL

Try again OP. I'm sure the next one will go much better... :mug:

Just remember, there are no stupid questions, just stupid people.

Edit: Right?

I know you can be "overwhelmed" and "underwhelmed", but can you just be "whelmed"?

Bonus points if you name the movie this quote came from.

There are a few things I hate about you, namely 10! :)

Unknown Heath Ledger , plus batman's Robin!

170+ posts and counting...I am once again amazed about what topics gain traction here at HBT.

I guess that's why I hang out here more than other forums that only seem to want to talk about brewing...

Does this make my beer look fat?

Also, wtf is this beer anyway?

It's a Can of Coopers Canadian Blonde LME, 3 lbs of Light DME, 1 lb of Corn sugar -- hop bursted with 1 oz of Centennial, 1 oz of Citra, 1 oz of Cascade and dry-hopped with 1 oz Centennial and 1 oz Cascade.

Fermented with SA-04... it's damn tasty, but now that I labeled it, I feel like it's an English IPA with American Hops. Really, I DGAF, but, you know... semantics and what-not.

I've always heard the camera adds .5% ABV, is this true?

Quantum Physics would suggest that during the measurement of the .5% there could be a deviation in the ABV that accounts for it being measured at that specific moment.

Since Specific Gravity is taken at a specific time and time changes would gravity change? I mean, do I need a better hydrometer or would it just float away?
