the recipe online at got mead has yeast in it- so does it have some alcohol

no they aren't good.

you can evaporate the alcohol out at 180-190 degrees.

Seems to me that a non alcoholic mead is tea sweetened with honey. Which, at least to me, is pretty darn tasty...

No technically no such thing.

You'd end up with water down honey, or maybe it'd be called honey water.

It's more likely to spoil......
