Greetings all,
Have been reading a lot of posts on this site over the last little while, and finally decided to introduce myself. I live in Iqaluit, capital "city" of the Canadian territory of Nunavut. Given the tight controls placed on beer here in town (you can't buy it anywhere) I started brewing at home to ensure I had a steady supply of affordable beer.
Still fairly new to brewing, started out with the "Just add water" kits from the brew store in Ottawa, which are pretty fool-proof. Recently put the finishing touches on my new kegerator using the information and tips from this site and am enjoying the results immensely!
I'm now looking at getting more involved in the brew process and have been reading a lot (from this site) on the steps and equipment involved and am hoping to attempt my first REAL brew in the not to distant future.
All tips, tricks, hints and information welcomed!
Cheers!
