Hey everyone, I'm going to be brewing an American wheat beer, and I'm looking for recommendations on what flavoring to use for Apple. I'm going for something like a shock top Honeycrisp. I've been told Apple concentrates, as a second fermentation. What is been your experience with this? What about using Apple cider during the initial boil? Looking for any and all input. Thanks

In my experience, generally speaking, flavoring extracts are crap. I've heard of people using apple juice concentrate, that may be your best bet...you can also prime with it, if you can figure out the sugar content and calculate the correct amount to add at packaging...
