Ian trying to condone that I can make from actual apples not shop bought juice, can someone link me one please? As all the ones I can see are for apple juice. My mother in law has an apple tree that always has loads of surplus and I want to make some this year

Thanks

Dont have a juicer lol - then get a 4in x 4 in oak post and a plastic bucket and pound them to a mush, squeeze through muslin, or hire / borrow a juicer - mush will oxidise dark brown when you pound it but will turn golden yellow once fermentation gets going....

Yeah I'll use my blender, do I need to add yeast? As I spoke to a guy who made cider once and he said there is enough in the skin of the apples to not worry. If so would I just stick it all in the bucket and leave it?

use a wine yeast - hock would be fine - there will also be yeast on apple skins but it would take a while to get started increasing risk of infection....
