Made a batch with apples and blackberry I picked, honey and water from a local well. After 10 days fermenting I filtered the liquid and stored it in a large tub. I didn't use a table to kill off the yeast afterwards as I wanted to keep it organic.

So naturally it kept fermenting but on checking this even a film/scum has formrd on top of the liquid.

Anyone have any insights into this and if the remaining 10l or so is OK to drink.

There original gravity was 1050,. 998 after filtering and. 996 now, if that helps

Thanks guys

That's called a pellicle. It's a common byproduct of wild yeast and or bacteria activity. It is not harmful to your health.
