I was just given a 3 gallon carboy so I thought i would try and do a Mini-Mash to put it to use. I would like some input and thoughts on this Grain Bill i came up with real quick
2.5 gallon brew
Base Grains
Munton's Maris Otter 3 pounds
Thomas Fawcett Halcyon Pale Malt: 4 pounds
Briess 2 Row Caramel 10: 10oz pounds
Hops
Cascade Pellets - 1oz 60min
Glacier Pellets 1oz 10min
yeast
Danstar Nottingham Ale Yeast

OG 1.057
FG 1.014
IBUs 45
SRM 7
ABV 5.6

You don't list the batch size, but with a 3 gallon carboy I'm guessing 2.0-2.5 gallons. If you haven't done All Grain, now might be the time to try. With a smaller batch size it would be very managable and good experience.

sorry yeah 2.5 gallon brew Removed LLE added 3 pounds Maris Otter and up Pale Malt to 4 pounds

I like the idea about trying all grain toying with that in my head atm trying to think if i have a way of pulling it out with out buying anything

Yooper: Think for the heads up on the crystal Changed to 10oz

What do you guys think about Bittering with Cascade? I know its mainly aroma hop.

I trying to come up with a House Pale Ale and im toying around with some ideas
