Got sucked in to buying this for my sanitizer because it was half the price of others. Has anyone used this before? Is it food safe? Do i need to rinse after i clean?

you know, after doing a bit of research, it appears that sparkle brite (diversol) IS a sanitizer, but i can't ever recall anyone ever using it. and i can't find any answer on whether or not to rinse it. this is an interesting website that mentions it:
http://www.cfhb.org/mead/cleaning_sanitation.htm

but honestly, i know starsan seems expensive, but just fork over the 12-14 bucks for the bit bottle of it, it will last you forever. i haven't even used 1/3 of the bottle in over a year. it's so easy to use also, it's well worth the cost.
