Blue Hills isn't the best place for a band like Clutch. The'll try and kick you out if your dancing around in the ailes. LiveNation has a monopoly on the venues and putting a hurt on some good bands that refuse to play their game.

They are playing Lupo's on May 16th also. A great play to see them, but since I live about a mile and a half from Harbor Lights (or what ever they are calling it now) and PRIMUS is playing, I sided on this show rather than driving to Providence and back.

The listed venue here is still under construction & will be at least partly open to the sky, I can't stand that long & refuse to sit on the ground.

heads-up for any Euro gear-heads:

CLUTCH: BEHIND THE SCENES VIDEO FOOTAGE OF NEW ALBUM

Clutch has finished recording their new album in Nashville, TN with producer Vance Powell (Jack White, Chris Stapleton, Old 97s, Tyler Bryant & The Shakedown, Red Fang) and some of the setting, the process, and thoughts during this time period were captured on camera. Today, Weathermaker Music released the first of several studio clips from Nashville and fans all over the world will have an opportunity to get a real look behind the curtain.

I like they're doing these livestream shows and hope they continue to do so. With any luck, maybe they'll see the value and possibly a demand even once they resume touring. It'd be nice to buy a show on demand from any venue on a tour, may not be cost effective with the tech required though.

I saw that! Pumped!

I did just score All Them Witches tickets for the Palladium in Boston for a December show.....lets hope it doesn't get cancelled...

I'll be at that Hampton Beach show!

I can't wait. It will be my first show since the start of the pandemic.

There are also rumors of a Doom Saloon 4 show.

If you haven't checked those I suggest you do.

It's kinda nice to drink a bunch of beers sitting on your couch and rocking out.

As a bonus, the production of the live LP's are fantastic too!!!!

Pure Rock Fury

Yeah, I saw they added the 9:30 show.

I was hoping the Hampton show would be the last of that leg, but that 930 show should be a real good one!

So glad music is back!

Scored Modest Mouse tickets yesterday, I have All Them Witches lined up for December, I trying to figure out a way to sneak out of the house for the Primus Tribute to Kings show (we have a 3 years old and 6 month twins, sneaking away for shows is a luxury at this point).
