Yes I really like mandolin when it is played like that. BTW is that the guy from nicklecreek?

Nice duet!

Most of my mandolin exposure comes from David Grisman, generally playing with Jerry Garcia (go figure!). David is more of the slower style mandolin player, but I do enjoy the faster style.

Really good though.

Yeah that's him, though NC has been pretty much disbanded for about two years. Now he's in a band called the Punch Brothers.

Oh yeah, I've had that one for a long time... really good stuff there. That actually made me buy some "stand alone" Tony Rice stuff and David Grisman stuff.

very nice duet. love garcia/grisman stuff. You familiar at all with the Yonder Mountain String Band? Pretty slick mandolin player.
