Anyone know where to get Nectaron hops?

I’ve searched high and low and can not seem to find them in stock/available anywhere. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I believe the NZ hop harvest begins around March, and that strain is highly sought and likely mostly under commercial contracts.
Still, YVH and other larger distributor/retailers were able to get some 2020s last year and may be able to get some 2021s, you'll just have to keep checking

Thanks...I’m aware of all the above but certainly appreciate the info. I was able to get some from YVH when they first had it last year in 2020, but haven’t seen it available anywhere else since. I check all the time and it just remains sold out. Perhaps I’ll email them and see if they have an idea when they may be getting some of the 2021 harvest in.

I’ll report back with any info.

I expect there's the intrinsic latency - eg: the USA hop harvest starts in mid-September but it can be November or later before the pellets show up in the retail channel - plus being on the other side of the world latency - and being a low volume/highly sought strain - all add up to the same "Keep an eye out" status

I've got a packet in my freezer but it's a sought after hop and I think it's been snapped up by the commercials.

Might be awaiting the processing of this years harvest and then might become available, I hope. There is no availability in Homebrew shops in NZ at the moment either so fingers crossed some will get out.

I have to say YVH customer service and responsiveness is phenomenal. I emailed them and they got right back to me.

I'm keeping my stash under lock and key that's for sure. But I've got to use it sometime.
