Anyone in the bay area help with keggle conversion!?

Hey guys, This is my first post here! I have been partial grain brewing for a while but now I want to step it up to All Grain. I have two stankey kegs I want to convert to keggles. I have done much research (from this amazing site) and would know that I first need to cut the tops ( I have already disassembled them), my question to you guys is does anyone in the Bay Area have a plasma cutter that I can bring my kegs to cut the top???

He's about to build a few keggles himself. I think he has a buddy with a plasma cutter. I know HMB is well below where you are, but if you don't find anyone else then it's worth a shot.

BTW, he is my brother, so I will vouch for him

If you have access to a hand held 4.5" grinder then you can get cutting wheels for it cheap and do it your self really easy and make it look nice even. I cut 2 kegs like that and both went well. I even made a simple cutting jig out of wooden scraps I had laying around to get the perfect circle.

Thanks for the replies, I do have an angle grinder but I live in a condo so the noise is a factor, unless I do it in my bathroom with all the door closed haha. I will contact the guy in Half moon bay.

Hey guys, I got the top off today with an almost flawless circle! I used an angle grinder to start then with a sawzall went through two blades but it actually went well! Tomorrow I'm going to drill the holes for the ball valves and couplings!

If he doesn't mind me calling I would like to chat with him, sent him a pm earlier!
