My birthday subscription for BYO started with the Sept/Oct issues instead of July/August. It looks like there are 2 good articles from that issue on Wheat beers and doing your first all grain recipe. Has anyone read these artciles and found them to be worth while? There are no LHBS near where I live so I cannot track one down easily to see if it would be worth trying to order the back issue.

Thanks,

Mick

I don't have the mag handy, but you can sign up online to receive the magazine, at least a portion of it, through email.

I may have to order it myself.
I'm looking into doing some all-grain possibly when springtime comes around, so that I can use the backyard. The idea of brewing in the snow just makes me cringe =P
So, Extract brewing during the Ottawa winters, on my stovetop.

Take a look at the stovetop AG thread--you should be able to do it!
