Tasted a "straight-up" bottle last week--it was pretty good. Pretty clean finish I thought. I'm going to try doing a version without adding water, so just 15L of wort and take the BrewHouse suggestion that it will be more Doppelbock style.
Wondering if anyone else has made this particular kit? I was going to steep some grains and add it to tailor a bit, but at this point: am just going to dump and go and see how it turns out. The price isn't too bad...
