Won’t be brewing, but I will be kegging a 10 gallon batch of 007 (Idaho 7) single hop pale ale to drink this weekend.

I’ll probably brew a Yuengling (inspired) clone this Sunday too.

A Yuengling is on my shortlist. I won a recipe kit from @HomebrewSupply a while back, and it was a Yuengling clone. It was close, and pretty good.

It’s going to be the second time i’ve done this particular recipe. I say Yuengling inspired, because i’ve tweaked it a bit to my tastes.

I would be curious about what homebrewsupply’s recipe is. I’m very much looking forward to brewing my version again this week though.

I kegged a Dead Ringer IPA extract kit and am force carbonating it so maybe I can drink some on the 4th. I brewed a IPA clone today from our local Brewery had a hard time cooling it down with my ice bath. The picture I posted is what it look like when it finally got below 100. Is this what they call the cold break?

Yep, that is break material. Once I brewed an Irish red ale that cooled and when I removed the bucket lid I saw what looked EXACTLY like a wadded kitchen towel! When I tried to retrieve it it disintegrated.

Brewing in the 3rd. 12 gallon mash and boil that will end up as 5 gallons of El Dorado IPA and 5 gallons of Summer Saison. The Saison will get some grains of paradise and won't get dry-hopped.

Gonna be brewing a cream ale and a summer shandy either tonight or tomorrow

Brewing a blackberry bitter that gets blackberry flavor solely from Bramling Cross hops. Not an American-based recipe, but I’ll name it British Revenge, instead.

I flubbed and forgot to make a yeast starter until about an hour ago, so I had to make due with what I had available... SD Super Yeast

Now torn between brewing before it gets hot, or waiting until evening so my starter has 24H to spin.

Just pitched on my English Brown that I'm donating for a silent auction.

Currently smoking a cheesesteak fattie with hickory, as well.

Drinking bourbon and barleywine.

Capping the day by going to see our local Atlantic league baseball team play, followed by fireworks.

I think I'm celebrating the Fourth as best as I can.

American Wheat in the kettle as I write this. Will be topped off with apricot extract when its done fermenting.

I had originally planned on an American Wheat with watermelon but the wife vetoed me...said she wanted the jalapeño cream ale instead!

Apricot sounds good!

started to brew a 12 day Saison and a midwest IPA, except I accidentally poured the wlp001 starter into the saison wort. So I tool the ipa wort, added 2 lbs of piloncillo at flame out. I decided to clear out the back of the hop drawer skipped the bittering added hop bursts of amarillo jarrylo cascade and centennial at 15 and 10 with jarrylo whirlpool @ 170. I then pitched the wy3711 starter. And to top things off I set up a fermenter with apple juice only to find out I had used my only 3711 on the saison. So I pitched it with what I had wlp590. Three stooge brewing day, lets see how it goes

I brewed a little something yesterday... did my first reiterated mash in the grainfather, basically double my milk stout recipe. Came out a little lower than I'd hoped, but I'll take it. This bad boy is going to ferment out and then live in my new barrel for a bit, before getting some sort of special flavoring.
