No, I haven't used mine yet. If I was doing a much bigger mash (I usually do 5.5 gallon batches, mashed in a 10 gallon cooler), it might make sense. Thanks for the idea.

Hmmm doing 10 gallon batches a motorized paddle sure would be nice... now I have to sit down and design and build it this winter!
Are use a paint stir attached to a cordless drill to stir my mash when I'm boiling for a decoction.
