So, my neighbor came up to me and told me that she wants to have a Harry Potter party in anticipation of the final movie this year. While I enjoyed the books, I am not to the level of geekery that is required for me to enjoy a themed party as an adult. Now that I have spoken that disclaimer, on with the story.
At this party, she wants to have themed food. As any HP fan who cruises these forums can attest, the only food that we ourselves would like to try is the mythical Butterbeer.
While they never express what it is in the books, Rowling said in an interview she imagines it as a butterscotch or praline flavored brew. So, can such a thing be done?
I am not to the level of brewing yet where I am familiar with the tasting notes of the different hops, so I am looking for advice in starting from scratch.
