Any harm of siphoning brewed tea through a diaphragm pump?

Sorry if the idea sounds absolutely crazy but figured it may be worth asking. So basically I wanted to take my iced tea on the road with me to festivals. To get water to to my Wunder-Bar gun I use this pump. I was wondering if I could essentially do the same but for brewed iced tea (unsweetwned). Would it have any adverse affects on the equipment? The pump has an attachable filter so at the very least I could catch the granulated tea leaves that sometimes remain from a steep. I also thought I could dip my siphon tube in some water to hopefully rinse the pump from the inside out after using. Let me know if this is ideal or if there's a more sane better solution 😅.

Why not? I've recently repurposed this pump: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4001315102342.html?spm=a2g0o.store_pc_groupList.8148356.10.5f543339pMcfSg&pdp_npi=2@dis!CAD!C$ 113.82!C$ 79.67!!!!!@211b88f016835697032113292e3dc2!12000030630992757!sh to transfer from Sankes to Cornys. I clean it by pumping hot PBW through and then thoroughly rinsing and it's been working fine:

EDIT: BTW; Don't bother with that carbonation unit...it's crap; The tee is neither NPT nor BSP and takes half a roll of teflon tape and a hell of a lot of torque to seal and it's just not worth it. ....the pump is nice though.

Thank you so much for the proof of concept!
