Anvil foundry and steam slayer

What are you using to plug the hole in the lid where the recirculation tube goes during the boil in order to maintain the vacuum for the steam slayer?

I've seen pictures of them plugged with silicone stopper. I never got around to actually doing it with mine before I decided I didn't need 2 brewing systems.
