Hello all! I've been lurking on this forum for about 2 weeks. I just got into Homebrew recently and started with a Stout.
I just transfered my Stout to the Secondary fermenter. It smells and tastes great so far (I can't help sipping the sample jar when I take a gravity reading). Will I go blind?
This weekend I'm working on a Pale Ale.
Equipment:
2 - 6.8 Gallon Bottle Buckets/Primaries
1 - 5 Gallon Carboy
1 - 4 Gallon Boiling pot
I'm drinking lots of Grolsh 15.2oz bottles lately - at $2 per bottle it's cheaper than buy the amber swing tops. Luckily I'm not planning on storing my green bottles on my roof (in the sun) I'll keep em in a dark place. I'm also using PET 500ml bottles.
Has anyone tried bottling with the 1.5 Gallon PET mini kegs that Miller Lite and Coors Lite come in? Miller Lite? Coors Lite? Do you guys still remember what that tastes like
Thanks for sharing all your wisdom... you guys rock! :rockin:
