In the interest of full disclosure, technically, I've only been a Texan for 5 years. I grew up in St. Louis before moving here. I've been brewing a short time, about a year, doing all partial grain.
Over the weekend, I dedicated some homebrew storage/work space in the garage, and managed to brew two different beers at a time. So for me, I've officially crossed over from dabbling into something I know I'll stick with. My poor garage has an identity crisis. It's part saltwater fish equipment, part woodshop, and now, part brewery storage.
I'm even toying with the notion of moving to all-grain in the not so distant future. I'll gather/make the equipment as I keep doing partial mash batches, then one day I'll make the jump.
So, Hello!
Looking forward to learning from everyone!
