Hi there,
Name is Dave 34 live in Fairmont, WV. I have a bunch of hobbies including my Jeep and beer thought not at the same time
I have loved beer pretty much from the time I was stationed in Germany where I began to love Wine and beer. I like many different styles of beer based on my mood. Everything from Lambics through lighter Pilsners and IPA when its hot out. In winter I really like porters, stouts, and dark ales.I frequent breweries when I can such as Mountain State brewery and Morgantown brewing company.I also love the German Hefeweizens and been known to drive an hour or two to get several cases of good craft or foreign beer.
The wife and I both like beer though her palette is a little more limited in the styles she likes we have both started wading into making beer using mostly the Mr Beer kit until I gain some experience and such though I personally think its not a bad way to start doing it simply and fairly cheap. I bottled my first Red Ale about a week ago so its lagering and am starting to make a cherry chocolate style beer thats going to take several months of lagering.
