from Kalamazoo, MI. Thats' right, home of Bell's brewery and Oberon, Two Hearted Ale, Best Brown, etc etc ad infinitum etc etc, and about the best homebrewers' shop I've seen.

I just started brewing a few months ago and I have three beers under my belt - a Hefe, a Summer Wheat ale, and a PPA (peach pale ale) - all of which I have twisted in weird ways to satisfy my weird taste. long time lurker and first time poster.

I hope that I can add to this awesome online community!

Welcome!

You are in the land of 'the beer you can no longer get in Chicago' and it hurts. I was at the Kalamazoo brewery ~5 years ago and really liked it. I need to go back, now that they have expanded, and bring back truckloads of Bell's with me!

Hi and welcome to the forums. I'm jealous you got an awesome homebrew store, I'm stuck ordering online still... moving to Texas in August though, hopefully something in the area there.

its bells general store. i love it. great help from the guys who work there, and great products. sooo...to get there...

I94 - bus94 - follow bus94 to kalamazoo avenue - turn left - bells is a big yellow building across from water street coffee joint (best coffee ever). take the road across the road from the coffee shop and turn into the parking lot. the store is nestled in the corner of the parking lot.

fresh hops, pellet hops, a TON of specialty grains, and everything that you'll ever need to brew up.
