Brewed up an Oatmeal stout on October 25th, this was my first mini mash. The OG was suposed to be 1.049 ended up being 1.041 (oh well) first few days of fermentation were chuggin along just as it should
...and then nothing... no activity at all, I was minding my temps and nothing else seemed to be out of the ordinary so after a week or so of that i transfered it to the secondary...being that the yeasties got stirred up a bit ferementation came back up chugged along for another 2 days and stopped...let it sit in my mini fridge at 68 deg for 2 weeks...13th -23rd
my plans were to bottle it today and when I moved the carboy to the kitchen counter a couple hrs before I plan to siphon I get more activity out of the airlock...
I dont have a thief to take samples for grav readings, but I do have an autosiphon that I could use, but it leaks pretty good (not a tight seal at the bottom)
either way, just looking for some input
thx
