So, the lid on the corny was giving us fits... Boiled it and pulled up on the swing clamp (or whatever it's called) finally got a seal and cranked psi to 30, had a good seal but when I went to purge the o2 off the top and regas the top began leaking again. Got it to reseal and cranked back up to 30 and left it , hoping that the gas would saturate the beer enough ,,,. My questions are - 1- should enough o2 be out of the keg since it all gets pushed to the top? 2- should I attempt to purge all/some when I decide to go to serving psi? Tips/ advice? Thanks

I have this same problem with one of my kegs. I still holds gas at serving pressure, but lower than that it leaks.

Use a bit of leg lube on the gasket so it will seat better. You might need a new gasket. Perhaps the rubber feet are worn and the coin trick will help?

Have 3 fairly new o rings and tried em all, all same issue ?, if I'm leaking I'll try coins for this batch then test before next one
