Order of progression:
Extract kits(indoor brewing)5 Gal.
All grain 6 gal.
Wort Chiller
200# grain orders.
outdoor(garage)brewing.
Kegging.
Keezer(4 taps).
Today!!!!12 Gallon batch
Shoulda done this sooner!It's true what they say,it's hardly any more work or time to double your batch.Takes some pressure off from the need to keep the pipeline full by eliminating the need to brew every week(unless we want to
)
We(SWMBO and I)used 6 gallons mash water & 9 gals. sparge water for 17.75 lbs of grain and ended up boiling 13.5 gallons of wort to end up with 12.Our 15 gallon pot was just big enough to do the job and our "CampChef"brand 60000btu propane cooker did great,no problems at all.A very rewarding brew day.
Oh,the total elapsed time from 1st brew to todays brew is 53 weeks(about 45 batches)
!
Cheers![Mug :mug: :mug:](https://cdn.homebrewtalk.com/smilies/sdrinking-100-154.gif)
