Since my previous post is now CLOSED, I am re-iterating my thoughts on getting my colleagues to "PITCH - IN" for drinking my homebrew. Far too many of you cranky ****s blew up my post, making me quite aware that selling homebrew is ILLEGAL. Im not a *******, I KNOW THAT. Anyone that does not, is a complete idiot. I even had some idiots private message me after the thread was closed to air their opinions and lectures.
For those that are reading this and dont know, what beef I have with some of you on here that try to lecture everyone that posts stuff on here because you think you know everything there is to know about homebrewing, here is my previous post.
Basically, my test subject are my fellow employees at the office/work. Previously I have "given away" my beer to those who have shown their interest in drinking my beer. I have had a lot of "that was the best beer Ive ever tasted" and a few of "yeah..that was a good beer" which usually means that they didnt really like it.
My problem is that I spend a ton of time planning reciepies and brewing the best beer I can just to give it away for free at work so I can get someone else opinion. I dont want to do that.
Is there any way to encourage them to pay for their beer? I mentioned selling six-packs and i didnt get any committals for orders or anything. What am I to say...PAY ME!?!
Anybody else have this problem?
Bottom line...Chill the **** out people. I simply mentioned that I wanted to make beer that my friends like and was looking for some suggestions on how to get them to help me front the cost of the whole thing. I thought some people may have some cleaver ways of doing that...clever donation cup design or something. One small sentence at the end about selling a sixer and my entire post blows up with cranky old ****s that want to tell me that selling is illegal or that i shouldnt care or even share my homebrew.
For those loosers that posted negative things about what I was asking, YOU can suck it.
