amt of sugar?

I have a cream ale recipe that calls for .75 lb. of table sugar in a 5 gallon batch, I have never used table sugar in a beer at all only corn sugar and that was for bottle priming . The 0.75 lbs sugar is for fermentables in the boil - not priming. 0.75 lb should be fine.
