Hi gang,
I will be making a 3 gallon all grain batch. The recipe is for an amber which includes 1.6 oz of roasted barley which works out to be 1.4% of the grain bill.... 1.3oz (1.2%) of crystal 120 and........ 1.3oz (1.2%) of chocolate malt (350 L.)
The entire grain bill is mixed up in the same bag, so I have to brew this recipe.
Do these 3 ingredients, and the mount of each, lend itself more to an American Amber or an Irish Red? I will choose the hops accordingly, as well as the yeast.
Any advice would be helpful. TIA
