Alva Controller

Did a quick search and came up with zero results so...Question for the group: Anyone have/used the Alva Brew controller with their Grainfather? Watched the video on youtube and have been reading the website..Was wondering if it is all it is cracked up to be and worth while in getting? Or is it an overpriced gizmo, and just stick to the old fashioned 'babysitting' of the brew?

Want a few opinions before I plunk down the bucks..Does seem like a neat gadget...

Depending on your needs you can stick with the original controller or use something else. The Alva can also control/automated (Grainfather) distilling and can control your fermentation fridge. DIY-ers have other options as well
