I have just moved to the US and I and buying again some of the equipament needed for homebrew.

I’m now building a jokey (the available ones are very expensive and I already have the faucets and connections, no need to buy again) and I can only find copper and stainless steel coils.

Aren’t there aluminum chillers to sell in US? Where I lived before most of people used only that material, but here it seems hard and almost impossible to find.

Any comments appreciated!

Aluminum slowly dissolves in beer. Copper or brass should not be used in dispensing coils either, for the same reason.

Stainless is far superior.
Now cold plates are made from cast aluminum with stainless 'coils inside' through which the beer flows. The aluminum is a large heatsink. Is that what you mean?
